The Neighborhood
Manor Park is a small neighborhood located on the east side of Ottawa, just south of the Ottawa River. Manor Park is unique in its isolation from the rest of Ottawa and its proximity to other communities.
It borders Rockcliffe on its western side, separated by McKay Lake, and Vanier to its south, beyond the Beechwood Cemetery.
Surrounded by ample park space, the boundless Rockcliffe Park is on the north side of the neighborhood with the smaller London Terrace and Hemlock Park to the east.
Beyond that, plenty of open space along the Rockcliffe Parkway provides hiking, cycling and walking trails. There is plenty to see and do, including the Aviation Museum, located close by on the east side of St. Laurent, off the Rockcliffe Parkway.
With a vibrant community organization, the Manor Park Community Council (MPCC) provides a variety of support to the community via high quality recreational programs involving a wide range of participants, neighborhood communications, and much more.
This mature neighborhood is home to many beautiful heritage residences, and the few commercial endeavors are subtly placed for convenience. With its proximity to downtown, all the desirable amenities are close at hand. Recognized as one of Ottawa’s most desirable communities, Manor Park offers the best of Ottawa living.
With easy accessibility to downtown via the Vanier Parkway, Highway 417 and the Rockcliffe Parkway, Manor Park is also served by OC Transpo routes 5, 7 and the St. Laurent Bus Transit Station for quick and easy service to wider destinations.
